The advent of High Definition surveillance video and the desire to monitor it remotely has brought with it the technical challenge and expense of transmission.
Compressing these video streams yet retaining video quality is achieved with our Kompressor technology.
Utilising the state of the art omni-compression algorithm source video (including H.264) from modern IP CCTV cameras is compressed by 90% on average, meaning full HD video could be sent over 3G, and many HD streams can be sent simultaneously over larger transport mediums.
Video may be recorded directly onto the KSL Kompressor device, and streamed on-demand to the central monitoring centre, all controlled from within the Video Management Server interface.
Prerecorded historic video may be streamed from the device in the same way.
